About Mikee
Mikee served as chairman of the Treated Wood Council and is a former president of the Southern Pressure Treaters Association, as well as a member of the American Wood Products Association.
In South Carolina, he chairs the executive committee of the Indian Waters Council of the Boy Scouts of American and the board of the Palmetto Conservation Foundation. He is former chairman of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance, South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce, Orangeburg March of Dimes, Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Committee and many other civic groups. At the request of Governor Haley, he also served as past chair of the State Workforce Investment Board.
With an undergraduate degree from Furman University, Mikee also has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in family business from Kennesaw State University. Mikee and his wife, Cyndi, reside in Columbia with their three children, Brady, Causey and Lilly-Rae.
